Cuijian iOS App

I'm so honored to design an app for the No.1 Rock Star in China with LogicDesign Studio together in 2016. About design, Cui Jian gave us a single creative cue—“feet on the earth, eyes on the stars”—and otherwise did not intervene in the design. We built the app’s entire navigation with 3D panoramic technology and the phone’s gyroscope, so users can simply turn their bodies while holding the phone to viscerally experience “feet on the earth, gazing at the stars.” The concept was approved in one pass, and Cui Jian was delighted; the feel aligns perfectly with his new album “Guang Dong (《光冻》)”.
